The SRS Mission: Education • Expression • Experience • Empowerment
The four pillars that hold you steady while you figure out who you are and then become her out loud.
Purpose
SRS is about unlearning the shame that's been weighing you down since before you can remember. And replacing it with real education about your body, your wellness, and your pleasure.
I'm here for Black Women who are ready to integrate wellness and pleasure into everyday life. In how you dress, how you move, how you eat, how you rest. In how you understand your body and advocate for your own health. In the small moments you've been taught to rush through.
I center US. Black women navigating pleasure and wellness in a world that told us to be strong, not soft. To serve, not enjoy. To shrink, not expand.
SRS is where you get to take up space. Loudly. Unapologetically. With joy.
Sweet is the pleasure and wellness you deserve. Yes, you.
Raw is the truth we've been too afraid to say out loud.
Sticky is the kind of connection that doesn't let go. The good kind.
THE FOUR PILLARS
Everything we do at SRS comes back to these four things. Think of them as the foundations that hold you steady while you figure out who you are when nobody's watching and then become her out loud.
EDUCATION
Learn what they didn't teach you
Most of us didn't learn about pleasure or our own sexual health in school. We learned shame instead. We learned to b quiet, to make ourselves smaller, to put everyone else first.
SRS is where you learn the things you should've been taught from the beginning. How your body actually works. What's happening with your hormones, your pelvic floor, your changing needs. How to ask for what you want. How to move through cultural shame without letting it define you.
And I teach it the way you need to hear it. Warm, honest, and grounded in the reality that understanding your body and experiencing pleasure are your birthright. You don't have to earn either one.
How We Educate:
- SRS Education Hub (12 months of guided content)
- Workshops and events (virtual and in person)
- Blog and newsletter (free education, no fluff)
- Trusted Educators directory (we vet them so you don't have to)
EXPRESSION
Safe spaces to say what you've been holding
You know those conversation you only have with your closest girls? The ones where you finally admit what you really want, what you're scared of, what you're curious about?
That's what I create here. Spaces where Black women can speak freely. No performance, no judgment, no explaining ourselves to people who don't get it.
This is where you find your voice. Where you realize you're not the only one navigating this. Where it's safe to be messy, honest, and still figuring it out. Where you can talk about your body, your health, and your desires without code switching.
How We Create Expression:
- SensualiTea with Velvet (monthly live conversation. Bring your tea.)
- Community conversations (newsletter, social, real talk)
- Your stories (because you voice matters here)
- Monthly commentary (on Black wellness, pleasure, intimacy, all the conversations that still don't get enough space)
EXPERIENCE
Feel it. Live it.
At some point, the education has to move from the page into your body. That's what the workshops, experiences, and events are for
These aren't lectures. These are immersive, wellness centered experiences designed to move you. Literally and emotionally. You'll breathe differently. Move differently. See yourself differently.
And you won't leave the same person who walked in. That's the whole point.
How We Create Experiences:
- Workshops (virtual and in person, 2-3 hours of real transformation)
- Curated experiences
- Retreats (weekends where you get to just...be)
- Multi-week programs (4-12 weeks of deep work with a cohort who gets it)
- Co-branded events with partnership organizations
- Workshop library (catch up on what you missed)
EMPOWERMENT
Own your body. Own your wellness. Own your power.
The goal is to give you what you need to keep going long after you've stopped working with SRS
That means tools. Journals, calendars, cards, rituals, practices. things you can come back to when shame creeps in. When the world tries to convince you to shrink again. when you need a reminder that your body is home.
Empowerment is having what you need to keep choosing yourself, over and over again. Your wellness, your pleasure, your power.
How We Empower:
- Products
- Body positivity resources (affirmations, mirror work, the real stuff)
- Self-care rituals (breathwork, sensual practices, rest as resistance)
- Your stories (proof that you're not alone in this)
- Free resources (guides, worksheets, things to get you started)
- Sexual health and body literacy tools
Who This Is For
This is for you if you're a Black Woman and any of these that hit a little too close.
- Your body has been changing and nobody's giving you real information about what's happening or why
- You've been the "good girl" most of your life and you're tired of it
- You just got divorced and you're like "Wait, who am I without him?"
- You want sexual freedom but the way you were raised keeps showing up
- Your sex life feels like you're going through the motions and you want more
- You're curious about your body and your desires but the spaces that exist feel intimidating or like they weren't made for you
- You've been carrying shame about your body and your desires for way too long
- You know what you want but you don't know how to say it out loud
- You're ready to stop shrinking and start taking up the space you deserve
If you're ready to make pleasure a practice (not just something that happens when the stars align), you're in the right place.
Ready to Begin?
There's no wrong door to walk through. Whether you start with the Education Hub, a workshop, or just browsing the shop, you're already on your way.
The destination is the same. A life where pleasure isn't a luxury. Where your wellness isn't an afterthought. Where shame doesn't get the final say. Where your body feels like home.
Let's go.
